Ingredients

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cocoa
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups water

Directions

  1. Preheat 350 degrees
  2. Mix flour, salt, sugar, cocoa, and baking soda together
  3. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla – mix well using a spoon or whisk (do not beat with an electric mixer)
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes
