Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter, softened
Cocoa powder (1/3 cup for light, 1/2 cup for medium, 3/4 cup for dark)
2 2/3 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Mix the butter
  2. Add cocoa and powdered sugar alternately with milk
  3. Beat to spreading consistency, adding more milk if needed
  4. Blend in vanilla
