Ingredients

Refrigerated pie crust
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Whipped cream

Directions

  1. Preheat 450 degrees
  2. Put pie crust into dish
  3. Line inside of pie with tin foil (keep crust exposed) and bake for 8 minutes
  4. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer – cool on wire rack
  5. In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth – bring to boil and cook/stir until thickened, then stir in gelatin
  6. Refrigerate until slightly cooled (15-20 minutes)
  7. Slice and arrange strawberries in pie crust
  8. Pour gelatin mixture over berries
  9. Refrigerate until set
  10. Serve with whipped cream on top
