Ingredients
Refrigerated pie crust
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Whipped cream
Directions
- Preheat 450 degrees
- Put pie crust into dish
- Line inside of pie with tin foil (keep crust exposed) and bake for 8 minutes
- Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer – cool on wire rack
- In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth – bring to boil and cook/stir until thickened, then stir in gelatin
- Refrigerate until slightly cooled (15-20 minutes)
- Slice and arrange strawberries in pie crust
- Pour gelatin mixture over berries
- Refrigerate until set
- Serve with whipped cream on top
