Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup dry white wine
Salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 pound extra-large raw shrimp
Cooked angel hair pasta

Directions

  1. Cook angel hair pasta – set aside
  2. Melt butter with olive oil in large skillet
  3. Add garlic and sauté about 1 minute
  4. Add wine, salt, red pepper, and plenty of black pepper and bring to a simmer
  5. Let wine reduce by half, about 2 minutes
  6. Add shrimp and sauté until they turn pink
  7. Serve over pasta
