Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 onion, sliced
½ cup BBQ sauce
¼ cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
American cheese

Directions

  1. Cook chicken and onions in skillet for 8 minutes – stir occasionally
  2. Add BBQ sauce, water, sugar – stir, cover, and cook 7 minutes
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and shred with two forks
  4. Return chicken to skillet – stir and coat with sauce
  5. Serve with American cheese on hamburger rolls
