Ingredients
6 medium carrots
2 tablespoons chopped onion
4 tablespoons melted butter
Chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Peel carrots, and cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
- Cook in boiling, salted water about 15 minutes (or until tender)
- Melt the butter and add onions – cook slowly, and do not let them brown
- Drain carrots when tender, and add the butter and onions
- Place in serving dish and top with parsley
